Within the framework of the 2023 Create and Validate project, entitled \u201cNew generation of human recombinant proteins produced on an ex vivo biotechnology platform for the production of platelet-derived proteins of high commercial interest and added value,\u201d and in accordance with Law No. 21,516 on the Public Sector Budget for 2023, which, in Article 23 letter D, established a series of obligations and requirements regarding current transfers made between State Administration bodies, as well as those made to the private sector, in accordance with the above, it has been established that allprivate institutions receiving public funds, for any purpose, for a total amount exceeding two thousand monthly tax units, must publish the agreements on their website, together with their financial statements, balance sheet, and annual activity report, as required. <\/span><\/p>\n

The project summary and related documents are described below: <\/span>The recombinant protein (RP) market is experiencing significant growth and is expected to reach USD 5.09 billion by 2030. Leading companies such as Merck and Pfizer are using cutting-edge technology in RP production. However, there are challenges and costs associated with expression systems such as bacteria, yeast, insect cells, and mammalian cells. Careful selection of the biotechnology platform and post-translational modifications (PTMs) is essential to ensure proper protein structure and function. Although human expression systems show lower yields and slower cell growth, they are indispensable for the production of complex proteins.\n\nAs a company, our objective is to validate, produce, and package recombinant human TGF-\u03b2 (rhTGF-\u03b2) using Platech\u2019s advanced biotechnology platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We aim to standardize biological production and execute a successful commercial strategy to validate our product commercially within the healthcare industry. This validation will allow us to focus on obtaining global licenses, addressing leading companies in the recombinant protein market, including major pharmaceutical companies in the healthcare sector. Our project will benefit companies producing human recombinant proteins, as well as patients, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies overseeing the industry.<\/p>\n
