On Friday, January 12, 2018, in our dependencies in the Viña del Mar district, the launch event of the second stage of our current project in development was held: «N4Cells, technical and commercial validation of an alternative to fetal serum bovine (SFB) for cell culture.” The main objective of this activity was to make the innovative and disruptive product under development known to the scientific community. This event was attended by GrupoBios, the co-founders of the company, investors, collaborators, and leading academics in the area.
N4Cells is Platech’s first product, a solution in research and industrial production stages to enhance cell growth in scientific research and the standardization of experimental results, thus offering an alternative to the use of animal serum. Our proposal seeks to enter the market as a product different from whey, as a completely new alternative that displaces all types of products of animal origin, highly innovative, and with high-quality standards that impact the scientific world.
